After a few months of trying to find the perfect 'kids' bed for my 6-year-old, I ended up opting for this simple solution because of the ease of use and convenience. Sure, kid beds are cute and make their rooms look nice - but the kids eventually grow out of them and no longer want them. I wanted to find something that was timeless, useful and economic. This platform frame paired with the twin Linenspa memory foam mattress was the perfect buy! I assembled everything in 10 minutes! It took me a longer time to get the mattress and frame out of the packaging than it did to put them together.Kids beds should be a simple solution! We dressed it up with his favorite Mario comforter and pillow set and voila! Happy kid, happy Mom :) I was pleasantly surprised at how simple this was to set up and how high up it is. Although the description says 14”, I think I just associated a platform bed with being low profile. There is an amazing amount of space under the bed that were are excited to use as storage. The fact that this folds up is an awesome added bonus! Excellent engineering; extremely sturdy and quick set up. I was surprised at how stable the platform is. Makes storage underneath easy as well. The frame is sturdy and is a reasonable buy. The only thing which i noticed was the frame made slight noise when the person moves around on the mattress kept on the frame. It could be something which many people might not notice but I just mentioned it. All in all a great buy. I think a good mattress topper might help solve the issue. This is an excellent frame for my new platform mattress. When they said 5 minute assembly they we spot on! Super easy to assemble, hold up well, lots of understorage space. Its a great buy! Easy to pack up for storage too if ever needed. So convenient to assemble. Had the bed set up on it within minutes! I ordered this twin-sized frame along with the "Linenspa 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid Mattress." We've used it several times so far and although the frame is lightweight, it appears to be very sturdy. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that I wish it had brackets to keep the twin mattress in place. I will need to order the brackets separately.
